We are currently looking for a motivated Junior Finance Controller (m/f/d) to join our team at the Mainburg site on a long-term basis.

Overview
The Junior Controller supports the company’s financial management by preparing, analysing and presenting monthly, quarterly and ad hoc reports for management and banks. Working closely with the CFO, they ensure transparency regarding financial indicators, variances and trends, and contribute to the further development of reporting and controlling processes.

Duties and Responsibilities
• Reporting & Analysis
• Preparation and presentation of monthly management reports
• Assistance with the preparation of quarterly reports for senior management and banks
• Analysis of variances between target and actual figures, and formulation of recommendations for action
• Preparation of ad hoc analyses and presentations for the CFO and management
• Assisting with budget planning and forecasts
• Analysing cost structures, margins and profitability
• Monitoring key performance indicators (KPIs) and financial metrics
• Data preparation
• Consolidating financial data from various systems
• Ensuring data quality in reporting
• Further developing reporting templates and dashboards
• Contributing to the automation and digitalisation of financial reports
• Collaborating with Accounting, Finance and other departments

Requirements
Education / Studies
• A successfully completed degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, Controlling, Economics or a comparable qualification
Work experience
• Initial practical experience in Controlling, Finance or Accounting, e.g. through internships or work-study placements
Technical skills
• Good knowledge of financial analysis and controlling
• Proficiency in Excel
• Initial experience with ERP systems (e.g. SAP, Datev, Navision or similar) 
• Experience with BI tools (e.g. Power BI, Tableau) 
Personal Skills
• Affinity for IT
• Analytical and structured approach to work
• Strong numerical aptitude and attention to detail
• Ability to present complex issues in a clear and understandable manner
• Initiative and a willingness to learn
• Good communication skills
• Very good command of English
